Little Free Libraries: Where are they and how do I stay safe?
Three years ago, Grant Street students, librarian Joy Wentzel and local Shipwright Bryan Wentzel wanted to help “stop the Summer Slide” and share their love of books with the community. They designed, built and installed two Little Free Libraries (LFLs). These LFLs are back in circulation!! One is located at Salish Coast, the other outside the commons at Blue Heron. The concept is simple: Take a book, share a book. While our school libraries are now closed, look for these 2 houses of books as a way to get books in your hands.
